Welcome to Chaaye Khana. Pull up a chair. The chai is ready.

WHERE IT BEGAN

F-6, Islamabad. 2013.

In Islamabad, in 2013, a tea house opened in F-6, one of the city’s most beloved neighbourhoods. There was nothing complicated about it. Good tea, made properly. A warm room. Food that tasted like someone’s mother had made it. A place where you could sit for an hour and nobody would rush you out.
People came. Then they kept coming.
That tea house was Chaaye Khana, and over the past decade it has become the pioneer of the modern Pakistani tea house. More than 30 locations across the country. A name that means something. A standard that has never slipped.

THE TEA

Chaaye Khana means Tea house. That's the whole point.

We take tea seriously in a way that most places simply don’t. Not the teabag-in-a-mug kind of serious. The kind that means your doodh patti is brewed to order, your Kashmiri chai arrives a deep blush pink and tastes of cardamom and cream, your matka chaaye comes in a clay cup still holding the heat.
Pakistan has a tea culture that the rest of the world is only beginning to notice. We have been living it for over a decade.

THE FOOD

The nashta that tastes exactly like it should.

Chaaye Khana was never just about the tea. It was about sitting down to a halwa puri on a Sunday morning and feeling, just for a moment, like you were back. The khagina that tastes exactly like it should. The nihari that has been slow-cooking since before you woke up. The paratha that comes off the tawa warm, not from a bag.
Everything we serve is made to order. Nothing is frozen. Nothing is rushed. That is not a marketing line, it is the standard we have held since F-6.

BEYOND PAKISTAN

Wherever you are in the world, this is for you.

Chaaye Khana was born in Pakistan. But the warmth it carries, the freshness, the consistency, the feeling of belonging that comes with every cup, those things travel.
Whether you grew up drinking doodh patti at home or you’re tasting it for the first time, Chaaye Khana is a place where everyone is welcome and nothing is compromised.
We are bringing that experience to the world. Every location, every cup, the same standard. The same care. Made to order, every time.

Our Philosophy

More Than
a Cafe.

Chaaye Khana, born out of a passion for traditional flavours and a longing for homely comforts, is more than just a cafe. We are a meeting place for lovers of authentic taste, a sanctuary for those craving a soothing cup of tea, and a haven where each dish tells a story of culture and heritage.

Our Mission

An Unchanged
Promise.

Our story began as a humble endeavour to bring the traditional tastes of our roots to the table. We’ve grown since then, but our mission remains unchanged. We believe in preserving the authenticity of our dishes and in creating a dining experience that transports you back to simpler times, where each sip of tea and bite of food was savoured.
